Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team and support our financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting or related field, looking to gain practical experience in accounting while pursuing their education.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Assist in the preparation of payment requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Update and maintain the company’s accounting system with the latest financial transactions.
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support the accounting team in the preparation of tax documents and compliance.
- Other relevant duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications/ Skills
- Enrollment in 2nd Year Bachelor’s Degree Program or soon to acquire in Accounting, Business Management or related field.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in an accounting role or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to analyze financial spreadsheets and documents to identify discrepancies and trends.
